Elite Swimming was founded by ELITE Sports UK in 2018 after recognising a growing need for schools to have access to high-quality, flexible swimming lesson options. Traditional school swimming programs often faced barriers such as logistical challenges, lack of nearby facilities, and time constraints. To bridge this gap, we introduced our ‘Pools to Schools’ initiative—bringing swimming lessons directly to schools through our innovative above-ground pool solutions.

Since our launch, Elite Swimming has grown exponentially and is now the UK’s largest above-ground pool operator. Our mobile pools provide schools with a cost-effective, safe, and efficient way to deliver curriculum-based swimming lessons without the hassle of off-site travel. We are proud to have helped thousands of children develop essential water safety skills, improve confidence in the water, and meet national curriculum swimming requirements.

Our program is specifically designed to align with the national curriculum, ensuring that all children receive the necessary instruction to swim at least 25 meters confidently and perform safe self-rescue techniques by the time they leave primary school. By providing structured, high-quality lessons led by expert instructors, we are helping schools meet their statutory obligations while giving pupils an invaluable life skill.
